Tell us about your day: I had my appointment back in February 2024 at your Dress for Less boutique upstairs – From me contacting you by email to say I was a nervous, curvy bride to you responding with such lovely comments and words to put me at ease, I still did feel nervous as it’s a big point in the wedding planning! You called me ahead of the appointment to make sure I was ok and basically to check-in. I really appreciated that, but I had nothing to worry about because as soon as I stepped through your doors, you were all so lovely and made me feel so welcoming that my nerves just melted away! Jasmine, our consultant, was amazing; she didn’t push me to try anything I didn’t want. I had an open mind and wanted to try all styles. I wasn’t made to feel any less of a bride just because I had the budget; I felt amazing in the shop! We tried different styles. I did see one on the internet, but Jasmine was very knowledgeable and advised that the alterations if I needed any, would fall above my budget. I loved the honesty, so I didn’t try it on just because if I fell in love with it, then I would feel deflated at the alteration stage! She went above and beyond for me in my appointment and included everyone in my bridal party who came to support me :) I thought id found the one I felt amazing in it, my mum, my sister, my stepdaughter was with me, and grandma on video call all loved the ivory dress I was in it had everything I wanted- but I felt I hadn’t quite had ‘ that moment’. Sooooo Jasmine said ‘ hang on I’m off shopping without you’ she then disappeared and came back with 2 wild cards! Wow I was blown away with what she brought back – 2 beautiful blush dresses very similar but as soon as I put one of the dresses on I cried absolute happy tears, this was my moment! It made me feel a million dollars, my stepdaughter said I looked like a Queen and everyone loved it, my mum still liked the ivory, so I did a few in-and-out changes between the dresses, but as soon as I put the blush one on I cried every time as I just felt amazing, my figure looked amazing, and I felt sexy in it! You gave me a little gift at the end (the water bottle came in handy on the wedding day for my water!) And I loved my postcard through the post it was the most thoughtful touch to my bridal experience!!! Well my wedding day was so magical and I got so may beautiful comments in regards to my dress, I honestly would recommend you to any other nervous bride because you are all are amazing! I wish I could do it all again with you!! Keep up the amazing work you do because my experience was above and beyond my expectations 😊 first thing Dave said when i got to him is, Wow that dress is stunning on you!
