"Ahhhh it was so special; such a lovely day! Our first wedding date had to be postponed but holding off getting married for an extra 3 months was so worth it! It meant we were allowed 30 so we could celebrate with our closest friends as well as our immediate family which was really special. It also meant it was a little bit warmer haha and the bluebells were out (I'd always thought it would be perfect to having wedding photos in my favourite bluebell wood). Dave and I got engaged 1st November 2020 (days before the winter lockdown) which meant I had to wait to try on wedding dresses, but I booked an appointment with the Bridal Collection for the first day out of lockdown! The ladies there are so so so lovely! They were super friendly and helpful and I found my dream dress and we were able to make adjustments so I could make it my own - I loved that! And all during the next lockdown, they kept in touch, sent messages and rang to keep me updated. They'd do anything to help a bride! I felt so special on my wedding day wearing my dress, I got so many compliments and my husband (I love calling Dave my husband!) loved my dress too! I'm planning on wearing it for a few more intimate wedding celebrations with people that couldn't come to the wedding because of restrictions! Very excited to wear it again!"
