Tell us about your day!: Well... the rug was (literally!) pulled from under our feet about 6 weeks before our big day when our original wedding venue went into administration... However, very fortunately, the lovely Grange Hotel just down the road still had availability on our chosen date, and we think it's fair to say that our day ended up being 100 times better than we'd ever imagined! The Grange Hotel is beautiful, with lovely gardens and great space for guests to mingle. And the location... wow. We didn't know we were in for the most spectacular Mamma Mia-style seaside pictures until we were in our bare feet at sunset on Grange promenade. If you're dreaming of a lush, exotic wedding abroad, but can't fly the whole family out of the North West of England, then look no further. Especially if the weather plays ball. Magical & enchanting were just some of the words our guests used to describe our day - a few people took a whole week to come down from it all! And so did we. The wedding blues were all too real. But thanks to everyone involved - and to the lovely team at BCL - our wedding was truly the stuff of dreams. Special shoutout and thanks to Francesca who helped me pick my gorgeous dress - with her keen eye for detail and creative flare, we created a 2 in 1, elegant, feminine, sparkling masterpiece that would have put Cinderella to shame. Living, breathing, elven fairy princess dream moment? Completed it, mate.
